Responsibilities include ensuring vehicles are repaired and painted to meet standards, purchasing equipment and supplies, maintaining and developing staff, preparing estimates for repairs, reviewing work volumes and staffing, enforcing company policies, partnering with support teams, overseeing quality control, managing mechanics, overseeing vendor partnerships, completing vehicle diagnoses and repairs, handling fluids according to regulations, maintaining vehicle history, evaluating job performance, approving bills, and assisting in employee counseling and performance appraisals. Requirements include a BA/BS degree with 7+ years related experience or 11 years without degree, at least 1 year in management or lead role, good communication and management skills, ability to lift 1-30 pounds, valid driver's license meeting Cox Mobility standards. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MSDS laws, ASE certification, diesel and transmission experience, industry certifications, and OEM mechanical certification.
