Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes that include optimizing our precision machining and robotics to enhance existing processes as well as creating new processes designed for manufacturing. The role entails leveraging automation and robotics expertise to streamline operations and improve efficiency across production lines. The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate closely with the Engineering Department on product design-for-manufacturing, utilizing SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies, and drawings for components, molds, and equipment. Effective communication with Production personnel is crucial to ensure processes and products meet design intent and customer specifications.
Responsibilities also include evaluating and recommending improvements for quality control processes, analyzing production data to provide management with insights for better designs and processes, and ensuring compliance with all government laws and regulations. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer will review and calculate production costs, schedules, and future requirements to support decision-making, plan workflow and equipment placement to enhance efficiency, and coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep production equipment operational.
