PARK MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT)– SAN LUIS OBISPO COAST DISTRICT / HEARST SAN SIMEON STATE HISTORICAL MONUMENT SAN SIMEON, CA
The reporting location for this position is the Water Department office located at the Hearst Castle hilltop maintenance complex in San Simeon CA. This position will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Chief III.
This position will assist the Water and Sewage Plant Supervisor, primarily performing unskilled work in the maintenance and repair of pools, water reservoirs and water treatment plant equipment. Working conditions may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke and/or loud noises.This position may work up to a maximum of 1500 hours per calendar year.
Possession of a valid class C drivers license is required.The work schedule for this position is Sunday through Wednesday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and every other Thursday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
