Position: Phlebotomist IIHourly Pay Range: $18.00 - $28.00. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $19.31 base pay hourly rate beginning with May 2025 paychecks. Location: Patient Service Centers; Cook County, IL Locations. Full Time/Part Time: Full Time. Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts; every other weekend and rotating holidays. Required Travel: Yes.What you will do:Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Manager/Director. Responsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimens. Collect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population served. Collect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilized.What you will need:Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience. Certification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required and PBT (ASCP) certification preferred. Experience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred. Unique or Preferred Skills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills.Benefits:Premium pay for eligible employees.
