Job Purpose: The Director Division Controller will oversee all financial aspects of regional operations, including forecasting, planning, budgeting, and financial control systems. The role involves collaborating with Manufacturing Operations Leaders to enhance operational efficiency, manage costs, improve processes, ensure internal controls and compliance, and conduct sophisticated financial and project analyses. The position is based in Austin or Houston, Texas. Nature of Duties: Develops and directs financial activities of regional operations, including forecasting, planning, budgeting, credit, collections, cost accounting, and control systems. Manages and directs staff to perform routine financial procedures. Provides advice to regional management to optimize performance. Interprets financial data to guide management decisions aligned with company goals. Establishes and monitors internal control systems per directives from Group Controller and Tax & Treasury Manager. Oversees regional credit and collections. Prepares financial projections and reports for management, coordinating discussions on financial issues. Implements programs to manage financial risks, as established by senior management. Develops systems to control manufacturing costs and assess customer profitability. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience in manufacturing industries is highly desirable. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, budgeting, and forecasting skills; ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. International experience is a plus but not required. Experience in Contract Metal Fabrication, Machining, or component manufacturing industries. Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at an executive level. Problem-solving skills and a proactive, 'hands-on' approach. Experience with integrated manufacturing and financial IT systems (Oracle preferred). CPA or CMA credentials are preferred.
